Malmö

Located in southern Sweden and situated on the northern shore of the Øresund strait, Malmö is an important commercial center. The third biggest city in Sweden is famous with its football team and many cultural attractions. From here we can easily access the beautiful province of Skåne.

Øresund bridge connects Malmö with the Danish capital Copenhagen and is the symbol of the region. It offers the best connection between Sweden and Denmark and the Copenhagen Airport. This very impressive piece of architecture is a combination for rails and road.

The main square is close to the train station. The City Hall with its impressive copper roof is another characteristic building.

The building is one of the most favorite photo motives in the city.

Following the narrow cobblestone streets we approach the Lilla Torg (The small square).

Most of the colorful buildings date back to the 16th century and bring a particular charm to this cute square.

Tourists and locals prefer  the restaurants here. This crowded place is one of the best spots in Malmö and the best place for us to relax and enjoy the typical Swedish atmosphere and cuisine.

Malmö is a nice destination for a day trip, following a few days spent in Copenhagen.
