Our daily
excursion goes to the village of Porto
Moniz, located in the northwestern part on the island. This is one of the most beautiful places in Madeira.
The
village offers excellent bathing facilities
and is an ideal place not just to visit but
to relax, swim or sunbath.

Undoubtedly the main attraction is the natural swimming pools, surrounded by bizarre rock formations of lava stones and filled by the tide
with crystal clear ocean water.

We
walk around the small harbor. From the lovely promenade, we enjoy the coastline formed by lava
rocks.
Due to its
favorable access, adventurers can walk above the lava stones and come into the
Ocean.
Porto
Moniz is especially loved by tourists. A couple of hours spent in this
picturesque place made our great vacation in Madeira unforgettable.
