Aranjuez The Royal Summer Residence

Located at the confluence of the Tagus and Jarama rivers and southern from Madrid, Aranjuez is famous as a Royal Residence since the time of Philipp II who built his summer palace here.

The interior of the palace is spectacular and well worth to visit, a great example of Rococo decoration. The great gardens around the palace are amazing.
