Karlovy
Vary is one of the most famous and luxury spa centers in Europe. We visited the city
in a day trip from Prague and got fascinated by its picturesque beauty and the
hot water springs, which healing water is well known since centuries.
Every
hidden corner of the city is impressive, mainly the spa district which can be
easily explored by very romantic walks.
The
place is quite relaxing and peaceful and the architecture is so amazingly
beautiful.
The
springs here have different quality of water. They are covered by a beautiful Mill
Colonnade.
We got special porcelain colorfully decorated cups from one of the
many souvenir shops and tasted the water from every spring and the taste was
always different. The water is not so tasty but good for the health. This was
definitely a fantastic experience and we have not seen anything like this
before.
We also took
a moment to enjoy the unique atmosphere and the surrounding history and beauty
around us.
Nearby
is a real geyser, a great tourist attraction.
What a delightful
place to walk near the river Tepla to relax and make photos.
Stara Louka
is a charming street with unique old buildings. Lots of cafes, shops,
restaurants representing the authenticity of Karlovy Vary.
