Brothers Grimm Path in Marburg-Where Fairy Tales Come True
The German fairy tale road is a hiking route starting from Hanau-the
home town of Brothers Grimm and leads 600 km to northern Germany and the city
of Bremen. The route passes through more than 50 idyllic cities and villages
and reveals landscapes and places where Brothers Grimm got inspired by legends to
write the famous fairy tales. The route is dedicated to the world famous
children fairy tales and includes places where Brothers Grimm lived or wrote
the stories.
The fabulous route pass through Marburg, this is the place
where Brothers Grimm have studied and a cradle of the German Romanticism.
Marburg is an important stop of the route and a unique place with medieval
architecture and impressive and well-preserved historical city center.

historical attractions.

The route goes through Marburger Bergland, that is up to
380m high mountain that includes various forest sections and lush meadows.

take long breaks- a pour natural experience and quite enjoyment.
Particular highlights are the idyllic views from Kaiser
Wilhelm’s Turm in the forest of Lahnberg.
From here you can see spectacular views to Marburg, Lahn
valley and the area around.
